Eastern Wyoming Ambulance Service

The current Eastern Wyoming Ambulance Service (EWAS) is owned and operated by Wade Wells and Jason Evans. Wells and Evans have been the administrators of EWAS since May 23, 2003. Currently EWAS is one of only three private, professional, ambulance services in the state of Wyoming. Eastern Wyoming Ambulance Service currently employs six advanced life support (ALS) medics and seven part-time medics with varying levels of certification.

Eastern Wyoming Ambulance Service provides a variety of services to Wheatland and Platte County including:

• Emergency Response to 911 Calls for Service
• ALS & BLS Interfacility Medical Transports
• Dedicated Event Standby
• Public & Private Education Programs Including: First Aid, CPR, and AED
• EMS Training
• DOT Certified Drug & Alcohol Testing
